People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTV) General Manager Julio O. Castillo, Jr. conducted an official visit in PTV Dumaguete and PTV Guimaras to discuss with local network employees various concerns affecting operations.
During the visit, GM Castillo took note of concerns raised by local employees. Some concerns discussed include the provision of a stable internet connection that will help increase their output by allowing them to sending broadcast materials to the central office, trainings for Network personnel from all stations nationwide to further develop the skills and competencies of employees, as well as the increase in the local Network’s revolving funds, among others.
Meanwhile, GM Castillo shared Network updates and plans, such as the Network’s reorganization plan, all of which align with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s recognition on the importance of the role of media in national development by helping the government amplify its message that fosters unity.
