The Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) and the People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTNI), has agreed upon the state-run network’s Performance Scorecard for 2023.
The Performance Scorecard was developed by the GCG to translate GOCCs strategic goals into objectives that are in turn measured and monitored to ensure that the strategic goals are met.
The meeting, which was held last April 28, was attended by PTNI General Manager Julio Castillo, Jr., DBA along with GCG Chairperson Retired Justice Alex L. Quiroz, GCG Commissioners Atty. Gideon D.V. Mortel, DCL and Atty. Geraldine Marie Berberabe Martinez, GCG Corporate Governance Office B Director Atty. Johann Carlos S. Barcena, CESO III.
Also attending for PTNI was Head Executive Assistant Atty. Raymond C. Sanchez, Jr., OIC, Administrative Division Mr. Joey A. Capisonda, Corporate Planning Chief Ms. Marie Therese D. Nicolas and OIC, Human Resources Ms. Maila E. Mamaril
Aside from the 2023 Performance Scorecard signing, GM Castillo also took the opportunity and brought to the Commission’s attention a number of challenges being faced by the Network. GCG Chairperson Quiroz then offered his wisdom and insights on how to best handle the situations presented.
