People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTV) has entered into an agreement with the local government of the Municipality of MInalin, Pampanga, Department of Education–Minalin, and the Parents-Teachers Association of Minalin to support planting of trees and plants within public schools in Minalin.
The greening activity efforts launched aligns with the call of President Ferdinand R. Marcos during his 2023 State of the Nation Address to care for the protection of the environment.
“Preservation of the environment is the preservation of life,” President Marcos said.
In February, Minalin will start its simultaneous clean up and tree planting activities across the municipality
Environmental preservation is a part of the Network’s corporate social responsibility under the leadership of Network General Manager Dr. Julio Castillo Jr., who also serves as the founding chairman of Akbay Kalikasan and Project Luntian Cavite.
