The Department of Environment and Natural Resources’s ‘Battle for Manila Bay,’ a large project that aims to clean and conserve the historical coast, is government’s move to restore and beautify the area and eliminate the waste that flows to the water.
With no less than the Supreme Court as one of the advocates and PTV as media partner, the Battle for Manila Bay aims to regenerate the shoreline. A major feature of the plan is to spread dolomite sand on the site as a way of achieving a white-sand-beach ambiance. Once the undertaking is finished, it will add to the glamour of the city.
