The People’s Television Network Inc. (PTV-4) took part in the highly anticipated Sante Barley Trilogy Run Asia 2025, held at the SM Mall of Asia Complex on July 13. Organized by Runrio, the event gathered over 13,000 runners from across the country, highlighting the growing fitness culture in the Philippines.
The run featured multiple race categories, including 32km, 21km, 10km, and 5km, catering to runners of all levels. The day kicked off early with the 32km category gun start at 2:00 a.m., as participants braved the early morning to tackle the scenic and secure course.
Each category provided a unique challenge, making the event both a test of endurance and a celebration of community and wellness.
PTV-4 showed its support for health-focused initiatives by setting up a booth, where runners and spectators enjoyed exclusive giveaways and interacted with the PTV-4 team.
As a government-owned network, PTV-4’s involvement reflects its mission to inspire and empower Filipinos through media and outreach, promoting healthy living and nation-building.
Backed by Sante Barley, the trilogy run encourages Filipinos to adopt an active lifestyle and build endurance, with the 32km race being a key milestone toward marathon readiness.
The event’s festive atmosphere, complete with live music and hydration stations, along with medical support on standby, made the day safe and memorable for all. As the sun rose over Manila Bay, runners crossed the finish line with smiles and medals—proof of their dedication and the power of community.
